About TIVOH
The International Village of Hope (TIVOH):
TIVOH was founded by missionary Carol Herget, who spent more than 50 years in Jamaica and Haiti
working with children in desparate need. Mrs. Herget, who was quite active in organizing and fundraising for TIVOH,
passed away in March 2003.

The Board of Directors of TIVOH
was recruited before Mrs. Herget's death and tasked with the mission of carrying forward the valuable work she started in Haiti.
Volunteer Leadership
No one on the Board of Directors, nor any of the many volunteers from the United States who work with TIVOH,
receive any compensation of any type and all give freely of their time, talents and monies to keep this effort going.
